Adventure Books
After safaris or expeditions, I usually create and publish a book. These Adventure Books, as they are called, are meant to be memories of the excitement and adventure we explorers had on that safari or expedition. These adventure books contain photographs made by all of the explorers who were there. These books may or may not be of interest to the general public, although who knows? These books are fun-filled with explorers experiencing the adventure.
Photo Essays
My photo essays are books that I have published on a particular subject. These books contain only my own photographs and are intended to have a more general appeal. They emerge from my personal assignments, safaris, and expeditions, and are my attempt at creative expression. I hope you feel something as you read these books, just as I did when I made the photographs and created the book itself. You may feel an insight into who I am. As my Mom used to say: “The work of every artist is a self portrait.” But, hey, what do I know? I’m just a photographer.
